    Tipology: red D.O.C. (Controlled Designation of Origin).

    Grape variety: Montepulciano.

    Production area: Giuliano Teatino, Abruzzo, Italy.

    Harvest: second decade of october, selecting ripe and sane grapes with a sugar content of 20/22%.

    Soil: loam with gravel.

    Yield per hectar: 80/100 q.li/Ha .

    Wine-making: maceration with the skins in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Integral extraction of must with soft pressing.

    Aging: in stainless steel tanks then aged for 12 months in little oak barrels. Further refining for 12 months in bottle.

    Organoleptic features: wine has an elegant deep red color with an intense aroma of vanilla, chocolate, tobacco and licorice. It has a well balanced and complex flavor. Full and soft on the palate.

    Food pairings: savoury dishes made of truffle, meat, game, ripened cheese and cold cuts.

    Storage method: horizontally in a dark place at about 16°C temperature.

    Service temperature: 18°/20°C

    Alcohol: 14% vol.
