The 2025 vintage will be remembered as one of the most generous in recent years. Abundant yields and generally high sugar levels tell the story of a season that achieved a rare balance between climate harmony and perfect grape ripening. The warm weather, punctuated by timely summer rains, created ideal conditions for each cluster to reach its full potential — not only in quality but also in quantity.

Although sugar levels were on average high, they were far from uniform: they depend on a multitude of factors. Sun exposure of the terroir, altitude, soil composition, grape variety, and vineyard management practices all influence sugar concentration, making every bunch unique. In other words, the 2025 vintage showed generally elevated sugars, but their levels varied from plot to plot, reflecting the complexity and richness of our land.
At Palazzo Centofanti, the numbers speak for themselves: compared to the previous year, production increased by 10%. A milestone that feels even more significant considering the discouraging vintage two years ago, when downy mildew wiped out up to 90% of the harvest. Today, the vineyard responds with renewed vigor, proving how resilience and passion can turn adversity into success.

The 2025 vintage is more than just a statistic — it’s the story of a harvest that celebrates the talent of the land, the patience of time, and the artistry of Italian winemaking. A vintage to experience, to taste, and to remember.
